How
does PhoneisCash work?
1. Locate your cell phone, by
manufacturer and model, in the drop down list.
2. Submit Your Information.
3. Ship your cell phone(s) and
battery to Phoneiscash.com
3.
You will
receive a check after 30 days from the day we
receive your cell phone(s).
If my cell phone
is not on the list will you still purchase it?
While we monitor the cell phone
market daily, we may have inadvertently failed to list an item
that is still of value; If you have a newer phone that is not
listed or have a question about any cell phone's value, please
contact
Customer Service
to inquire if it is a model
we buy.
How long does it
take to get my check?
Payment will be sent by mail
after 30 days ( normally in 5 weeks ) of the receipt of the cell phones.
Do I need
to send the SIM Card with my phone? Are the memory card and
the SIM card the same?
No. The SIM
card contains your personal information along with your
address book. It is not necessary to send the SIM card
in with the phone. The memory card is used to share downloads,
pictures, games, ring tones, etc.
Do you track stolen cell phones?
We do
not track stolen cell phones, but we keep a record of esn
numbers of the phones that we purchase so a stolen phone can
be cross checked. We also work with law enforcement agencies
and report suspicious activity.
What if I'm
unsure if the phone is in "acceptable condition"?
We will gladly evaluate any
accepted model phone you send in. If your phone does not pass
our tests, it can be returned at your expense. Phones received
in non-working condition will be recycled/disposed of, within
14 days, according to state and federal regulations and
further handled according to US EPA standards. We will insure
recycled phones do not become a source of environmental
pollution.
What if I want my cell phone back?
Once the
phones have been received by Phoneiscash.com they will be
returned only if we no longer purchase the phone or the
phone is broken. Those phones can be returned at the
owner's expense or we can recycle them for free.
How many cell phones can I sell on Phoneiscash.com?
There is
no limit on the amount of phones you can sell on our web site.
What if my
cell phone has a few dings and scratches but still works, will
you accept it?
Absolutely! As long as the phone will make a test call, has a
clear ESN/DEC #,
power on, LCD displays work and not
broken or bleeding, keypad works, scroll bars works, no
corrupt software, no broken antenna, no
water damage, no loose or broken flip, display light comes on,
display light comes on, ringer
works, speaker and microphone work, camera works and
does not has any crack on the body,
we will pay you for it.
Cosmetic
condition will have no effect on whether the phone will be
purchased or not.
Do you want my charger
and other accessories?
All we need is the phone and
the battery, home charger is optional but appreciate.
You can include your phones accessories, but we will not pay
any extra for accessories.
What if my cell phone is
broken and cannot be repaired, will you still pay me for it?
If
the phone is broken and cannot make a test call, does not have
working speaker and mic, bad LCD or won't power up, it will
not be purchased. If you send us the phone, however, it will
be recycled properly.
What if I accidentally send you the wrong phone?
It's
important that you identify and enter the proper manufacturer
and model number when you make your transactions. Double check
your information before you submit it. If there is a
discrepancy in your transaction, a Phone Is Cash
representative will contact you.
What if my phone has a personal lock code?
If your
phone has a personal lock code, please unlock the phone or
send the code along with the phone. The technicians cannot
test a phone with a lock code activated, therefore the
transaction cannot be completed and your phone will be
disqualified.
Do I have to pay for shipping?
Unlike other websites, we do not send you a box
with a
prepaid shipping label
because it will cause a major delay on the whole order
transaction.
If we offered
prepaid shipping it would take close to 30 – 45 days for you
to get cash for your phones. Nobody wants to wait that long
for their own money.
We want to get your money you deserved as soon as possible
that's why we pay more money for your phone than anyone else.
How do I ship
my phone?
Shipping your
phone(s) is the best part next to getting your money. You can
easily take your phone to the local post office, any shipping
center such as, UPS, FEDEX, DHL and have it shipped for $2 to
$5 dollars. In most cases they will package it for you. If you
choose to use your own packing materials, it can cost as
little as $1.50. It is that simple.
What if the prices you pay for the phones change after I send
my phones in?
Once a
transaction has been made for a specific price, that price
will be honored if the transaction/order was made before the
price change. A price change will not impact a transaction
unless a period of 30 days has passed since the
transaction/order was first made.
Any
phones received 30 days after a price change will be reflected
the new amount.
I
